Facade Consultancy Services was founded to help building owners navigate one of the most complex funding landscapes in UK property: government support for cladding remediation.

Since the Grenfell Tower tragedy, successive government schemes — the ACM programme, the Building Safety Fund and now the Cladding Safety Scheme — have made billions of pounds available to fix unsafe external walls. Yet thousands of buildings remain unremediated, often not because funding is unavailable, but because the application process defeats the people responsible for making it.

Freeholders, resident management companies and their managing agents are asked to compile fire risk appraisals, commission specialist surveys, provide legal evidence of responsibility, and respond to detailed technical queries — usually alongside the day job of running a building. That is where we come in.
